Event Coordinator
The Event Coordinator will support and deliver all virtual events hosted by Positive Impact. These events are for Positive Impact’s various event professional communities and range from short webinars to longer day events which align with UN International Days.
You will be overseeing event planning and management, including content creation, logistics and technology. You will be required to liaise with event speakers to confirm logistics and develop session content, as well as creating the event agendas. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the event technology including sharing this with the speakers, training the Positive Impact team to use the technology and confirming data collection. After each event you will be responsible for bringing together the outputs in a report. You will also be responsible for generating income through ticket sales for all events.
Other responsibilities vary and could include, working with the team to deliver group projects, webinars and completing ad hoc tasks alongside your event planning responsibilities.
From these responsibilities, skills developed include, but are not limited to, event planning experience, team management, strategic thinking, strong written and verbal communication, sales and marketing knowledge.
EventSustainability Coordinator
The EventSustainability Coordinator is a varied role with a main responsibility to support one of Positive Impact's main projects for the year; to gain ESG Impact Investment for Positive Impact online reporting platform, EventSustainability.
In this role, your main responsibility will be to research impact investors whose goals and principles align with Positive Impacts, to make the initial contact with investment companies and to support the pitches through techonological and PowerPoint help. It will be required in this role to have a systematic approach to research, to track the results of all our conversation and ammend your strategy if you are not achieving the desired results.
Through all of these responsibilities, you will support the team to reach the goal of achieving 3 years of impact investment from which an reporting platform will be launched to support the event sector to understand and report on it impact as well as take action to advance their sustainability commitments and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Other responsibilities vary and could include, working with the team to deliver group projects, webinars and completing ad hoc tasks to support the team to engage with the event sector.
From these responsibilities you will gain a unique understanding of ESG impact investment and launching a start-up company. You will also develop skills which include, but are not limited to, adaptability, problem-solving, statistical knowledge, research, attention to detail, team management, strategic thinking, strong written and verbal communication.
Media Coordinator
The Media Coordinator is a varied role supporting communications and designing and creating content used for marketing purposes to grow our community of over 1,700 global ambassadors, event professionals passionate about sustainability, and inspire over 3000 friends of Positive Impact. You will be required to work to brand guidelines and templates using online design platforms such as Piktochart & Canva.
You will be creating Positive Impact marketing materials such as video animations, social media graphics, emails, reports and presentations. You will be required to manage our social media channels, including creating and posting social media posts aligned with Positive Impact campaigns and reporting on social media metrics. Furthermore, you will be expected to develop ideas to grow our ambassador community.
Other responsibilities vary and could include, working with the team to deliver group projects, webinars and completing ad hoc tasks alongside your marketing responsibilities.
From these responsibilities, skills developed include, but are not limited to, social media strategy, sales and marketing knowledge, creativity, design, team management, strategic thinking, strong written and verbal communication.
Partnerships Coordinator
The Partnerships Coordinator is a varied role helping with all Positive Impact’s client work, sponsorships and conversations with Corporations. You will be required to work to brand guidelines and templates using online design platforms such as Piktochart.
Your main responsibility will be supporting Positive Impact to gain new corporate partners through research and creation of materials. You will also be creating Positive Impact’s client’s materials such as video animations, reports and presentations. You will be helping to track all client deliverables and create return on investment (ROI) reports.
Other responsibilities vary and could include, working with the team to deliver group projects and completing ad hoc tasks alongside your event planning responsibilities.
From these responsibilities, skills developed include, but are not limited to, problem-solving, building client relationships, adaptability, attention to detail, team management, strategic thinking, strong written and verbal communication, sales and marketing knowledge.
