What is the ‘Road to COP26: Event Sector Transformation’:
This initiative was curated by Positive Impact to provide support to the event sector, predominately SMEs, to make a net zero commitment and take action on this commitment, through free resources, before COP26. The net zero commitments are made to the SME Climate Hub which is a member of the UN Race to Zero Campaign.
Who are Positive Impact:
Positive Impact Events is a UK based not for profit which has provided education, engagement and collaboration to create a sustainable event industry since 2005. In other words, Positive Impact exists to lead the adaptation of the event sector to being a low carbon sector. Since 2017 Positive Impact has had memorandums of understanding to enable collaboration with a number of United Nations Bodies including UN SDG Action, UN Environment, UNDP, Unicef UK and UNFCCC.
